FOUR PHASE DECARBONIZATION PROCESS
WE ONLY WORK WITH PERFORMANCE BASED CONTRACTS TO CONTRACTUALLY GUARANTEE INVESTMENT PAYBACK
In the first step, PURE requests unit technical specifications. This data will help PURE assess whether there is potential for energy efficiency.
Based on the unit specifications, PURE will issue a brief report stating the probable energy efficiency gains and whether the project is recommended or not.
If the System Analysis show energy savings potential, we mobilize to perform the Site Survey. In this phase, our specialists will measure for each unit the following parameters::
Unit cross sectional area
Power consumption of old belt driven fans
Unit air flow
Pressure
Based on the Site Survey, PURE will issue a commercial offer indicating the project price and the return on investment (or investment payback period).
To demonstrate the reliability of our calculations and workmanship of our solutions, PURE proposes a pilot project that generally consists of 3 to 6 units in case of AHU. We propose a 3 month monitoring period of the Pilot Project to witness:
Unit power consumption
Unit performance
Once the Pilot Project has been validated and shown to be reliable, we move on to the last step of the process which consists of decarbonizing one or multiple buildings or assets as part of a spot contract or frame agreement.
Using the United Nations (UN) Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) median values for CO2 emissions, PURE will calculate the annual CO2 emissions reduction as a result of energy efficiency gains.
